In 2020, the world has been brought to a state of chaos because of the COVID-19（Coronavirus Disease）pandemic. While it goes without saying that preserving life and protecting the provision of medical care are urgent social issues, due to the resulting stay-at-home period, our lives and behaviors have completely changed. It must be said that now, major transformations are needed in our attitudes and social structure. Watching healthcare workers confront this crisis, it is clear that we cannot just sit around and wait for life to return to the way it was. What is necessary for the formation of a new society is for individuals and groups to do what they can to help overcome this crisis as well as to help prepare for the post-COVID-19 era from their respective standpoints. Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University will make full use of its scientific knowledge and skills to push toward the realization of the post-COVID-19 society.
