Introduction of
Research

My current research is devoted to the development of

(bio)chemical sensors with focus on low-cost devices

for medical, environmental, food and biological

applications. By functionalizing various substrate

materials with the help of modern printing techniques,

we fabricate highly reproducible sensing devices

applicable by ordinary users. Additionally, we work on

the design and synthesis of functional materials, such

as functional organic dyes, substrates for

bioluminescence-based assays and organic/inorganic

hybrid materials.
