Department of System Design Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, and Center for System Integration Engineering, School of Integrated Design Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University

Research Field:

Leading research in harmony between systems and humans, society and environment based on motion and behavior modeling, spatial-temporal analysis, etc. (e.g., social science)

Lectures:

New courses, “Society, economy, culture, and engineering”, etc.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree or are expected to obtain the degree upon arrival.
Japanese language skills are necessary for education.

Starting date:

April 1, 2023

Employment status:

The position is tenured.

  1. Curriculum vitae including professional and educational history (from high school onward), degrees, awards, and email address
  2. Achievement list (books, original papers, commentary, international conference presentations, domestic conference presentations, articles, external funding status, etc.)
  3. Reprints of papers
  4. Outline of past research, teaching activities, and reasons for applying (about two pages in A4 size, diagrams can be used).
  5. Aspirations for the research contributions to the system design engineering (about one page in A4 size, diagrams can be used)
  6. Two references with names, affiliations, and contact details
  7. Contact details of the applicant

July 20, 2022 (Deadline for receipt)

Selection process:

First screening: document selection, Second screening: interview (between late August and early September).
The candidates for the second selection will be notified by e-mail in early August.
