The Incentive Award subsidize the applicable students travel fees and other necessary expenditure, as well as the testimonial award and the prize. As a general rule, one award winner (or not applicable in some cases) is determined for each course.
The system of the Incentive Award was partially modified in this fiscal year. The application for the award will be accepted three times a year in 2006, increasing the maximum number of winners to 51, from 34 last year. Although the upper limit of subsidy is lowered to 160,000 yen, from 250,000 yen last year, you will have more opportunity of winning the prize this year.
