Electrical and electronic technologies are among the essential technologies of the modern information society. The Center for Smart Device and System promotes further developments in these fields and covers a wide range of research activities, such as electromagnetic wave engineering, wave electronics, quantum optical engineering, femtosecond laser technology, non-equilibrium plasma electronics, semiconductor engineering, maicro-and nano-electronics, nano-material, functional materials, optoelectronics, nano-photonics, network / system theory and system LSI. The center aims to develop new technologies for extreme conditions and system technologies necessary to achieve global excellence in advanced electrical and electronic engineering.
